E Katy sau Cleopatra?
Perry ne-a obişnuit deja cu diversele personaje, uneori amuzante, pe care le interpretează şi cu schimbările de look aferente.
Acum însă Katy a renunţat la outfit-urile girly, ale personajelor de poveste, în favoarea unui look interesant.
Cântăreţa a făcut, paradoxal, o incursiune în trecut, pentru al său Futuristic Lover şi s-a transformat, nu într-un extraterestru, ci în regina Egiptului Antic.
Aşadar, Cleopatra (pardon! Katy) vă prezintă noul său single, E.T., de pe albumul Teenage Dream.

Katy Perry’s booming ticket sales
Her career is certainly booming these days, and it looks like things will get even better for Katy Perry this year.
According to Perez Hilton, the “Firework” star sold out several arena shows in just minutes on Friday morning (January 28).
Her concert at Nokia Live LA in Los Angeles as well as venues in New Jersey and New York were among the places that sold out almost instantly.
Word has it, Ms Perry just added a third show to her upcoming tour, which will most likely sell-out as well.

Katy to strip for UK Rolling Stone magazine
Katy Perry will allegedly strip down to her smalls for the front cover of the UK edition of Rolling Stone magazine.
According to Monsters & Critics, the Firework singer will take part in a sexy photo shoot for the latest issue of the publication and pose in a blush two-piece lingerie set for the raunchy pictures.
Perry, who has previously graced the cover of the US version of Rolling Stone wearing underwear back in August 2010, is also said to have posed in just fishnet stockings for a seaside snap to be used inside the mag.
The Teenage Dream hitmaker told the publication that she has been on a strict diet in order to prepare for the saucy shoot and to keep fit for her 90 date California Dreams tour later this year.
The 25-year old claimed: “I’m on a meal plan, which absolutely sucks. But, on Sundays, I get to have a cheat day where I go buck wild and eat In-N-Out Burger,”
She added: “I’ll work out, go to a vocal lesson, run through the entire set at rehearsals, go to dance rehearsal until 10 p.m. and then go home and sort through e-mails concerning the production. I feel like I’m training for the Olympics.”
Katy, who married comedian Russell Brand last October, also told the magazine that getting hitched is not going to change the music she makes.
Perry, who is known for sexy songs such as I Kissed A Girl, explained: “There is an obvious element in me that wants to entertain people and make their faces light up. So I won’t only be singing songs about being a married woman.”
She added: “I always say a good example of that is Beyoncé. She sang Single Ladies but everyone knows she’s with Jay-Z.”

Adding more excitement to the anticipation of her upcoming dance track “E.T.” – Katy Perry has released a photo of herself in the costume she dons in the video.
Revealing the picture via Facebook, the “Firework” gal is posing with blunt bangs, a heavy cat eye and a pleather and fish-scale sequined top.
She wrote, “Here’s a sneak peek of the artwork for ‘E.T.,’ the next single off ‘Teenage Dream’! Stay tuned for a new music video and remixes coming soon.”
Of the actual song, Perry explained, “This next song is about falling in love with a foreigner, like far away … not even in England.“
